Alfa Recycling<\/strong>, a scrap yard in Munich<\/strong>, Germany, has adopted Zato\u2019s Blue Devil pre-shredder<\/strong> to optimise its metal recycling process. The pre-shredder has been in operation since March 2023 and has proven its worth in the processing of medium-heavy ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal. This innovative solution has increased the productivity<\/strong> of the main shredder by more than 30 per cent<\/strong>, saving electricity costs and reducing downtime.

The Blue Devil\u2019s low-speed, twin-shaft rotary shears<\/strong> efficiently shred difficult materials, while its safety features prevent explosions and protect the main shredder.
