Zato S.p.A. brings energy to the civil protection of Basso Garda and supports the community
We are happy to announce that, as of Sunday, 4 May 2024, a 55 kW run generator, supplied by Zato, together with a transport trolley made by Terraroli S.r.l. of Pozzolengo, is in the hands of the Lower Garda Civil Protection.
The inauguration took place in the new Emergency Pole premises in Rivoltella, in the presence of numerous representatives of the 106 volunteers who welcomed the donation with great joy and pride.
The reason behind this donation: sustainability and social commitment
The input came to Zato through one of the 106 volunteers of the Lower Garda Civil Defence, Andrea Terraroli, who has been our employee for years.
We were thrilled to accept this challenge, which not only broadens our vision of the community role and allows us to be a model for other local realities, but also stimulates active participation in the needs of those who may be in difficulty. In this way, we offer concrete support to those who are already ready to intervene in a professional and organised manner.
It is in fact a gift for the entire community, as the generator can provide electricity for 18 consecutive hours and guarantee power to an equivalent of 18 flats, representing a guarantee of safety for the mobile column of the provincial Civil Defence, which has over 6,000 volunteers ready to intervene in crisis situations.

Grâce à cette collaboration, la Protection Civile du Basso Garda est désormais la seule de la région à disposer de son propre groupe électrogène et de sa propre cuisine de campagne — deux ressources essentielles pour les urgences.
Cette donation renforce le capital humain et opérationnel de la Protection Civile.
