Machines and plants for shredding, crushing and separation of end-of-life cars
End-of-life vehicles, known as ELVs (End-of-Life Vehicles), represent a significant source of recyclable materials, such as steel, aluminium, copper and plastics. Vehicles, which have reached the end of their life cycle, are dismantled and treated to reduce environmental impact, recover reusable components and recycle valuable materials.
One of the most common processes in ELV management is baling, which occurs after the removal of hazardous liquids and reusable parts. End-of-life vehicles are compressed into cubes or `bales´ in order to increase transportation efficiency to the shredding plants.
The Blue Devil Twin-Shaft Shredder is the ideal solution for breaking down these bales and liberating their various materials for a more effective, efficient and safer shredding processes in the hammer mill. When combined with the Blue Shark Hammer Mill and Blue Sorter Separation Lines, the Blue Devil offers a comprehensive solution for recovering all materials, optimizing productivity, reducing costs, increasing safety and enhancing overall profitability.
