Machinery used to cut and shred steel

Steel is among the most recycled materials globally, thanks to its unique properties that allow it to be reintegrated into the production cycle numerous times without losing its mechanical integrity. This recycling process reduces the need for new raw material extraction and significantly lessens the environmental impact of the steel industry. Steel can be sourced from a variety of materials, including scrapped vehicles, household appliances, construction materials, cans, industrial scrap metal, and production waste.

el is easily separated from other materials, such as plastic, rubber, or glass, using mechanical or magnetic processes. Once separated, the metal is returned to its original form through melting in an electric arc furnace, which removes impurities and non-metallic materials. This melting process restores the steel to its primary state.

After melting, the steel is further refined and formed into sheets, bars, coils, or other shapes suitable for creating new products.
To facilitate the shredding process, we designed the Blue Devil Twin Shaft Shredder, which takes advantage of low shaft speeds to ensure high shredding torque, allowing particularly difficult materials to be cut with ease.
