UBC Shredding Machines and Plants

UBC (Used Beverage Cans) are used beverage cans, generally made of 100 percent aluminum. They are one of the most commonly recycled materials in the world due to the high value of the metal and the ease with which they can be collected and processed.

Beverage cans are composed entirely of aluminum, which is lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and infinitely recyclable without loss of quality.

Creating new beverage cans from UBC requires only 5 percent of the energy needed compared to using primary aluminum, making it extremely energy and environmentally efficient.

To reduce expenses and environmental impact during transportation, the cans are shredded and densified.

This UBC´s are effectively shredded by Blue Devil twin shaft Shredders or the Blue Shark 12.10 Hammer Mill and, if necessary, subsequently freed of other contaminants with a Blue Sorter magnetic separation line.
